The Chesapeake District of The Wesleyan Church is seeking God-anointed pastors to assist in reaching the 7.6 million people of this region who do not know Jesus Christ. General qualifications for all pastoral appointments include:
- Evidence of people coming to Christ under the applicant's leadership.
- Acceptance and commitment to the mission and vision of The Wesleyan Church and Chesapeake District.
- Evidence of leadership ability to equip and empower Christ-followers for service, ministry, and making disciples for Jesus Christ.
- A practice of continuing education for effective pastoral ministry.
