If you are looking for a district where you can plant a church, shepherd an existing congregation to grow to their full potential, or rise to the challenge of coming alongside a congregation working through a time of transition, we encourage you to consider the East Michigan District (EMD) of the Wesleyan Church.
Our District offers a diverse variety of opportunities in the 13 counties of Southeast Michigan, with churches in rural and small communities to ministries in Detroit and the surrounding metro ring to suburbs. We have specific target areas for church planting and are eager to further the advancement of the Kingdom.
In EMD you won't serve in isolation, you'll be part of a team of pastors who are committed to seeing life changing decisions made in individuals that will make for better families, communities and a better world. EMD pastors meet monthly for a time of fellowship, encouragement, prayer, and training. You will also have opportunities to participate in seminars and conferences, both at the local and national level.
If you are looking for a ministry opportunity where you can be part of a team of pastors who serve ONE Lord as ONE team with ONE mission, then you may be the pastor we're looking for! Send your resume and a cover page outlining the area of ministry you feel called to: District Superintendent Richard Meeks @ firstname.lastname@example.org.
