JUDICIARY: Changing in terminology

Whereas, The Judiciary Task Force, in response to the 2012 General Conference's request has revised the Judiciary portion of The Discipline:

Whereas, This revision has changed the terminology in the Judiciary from the concept of a "trial" to the concept of a "hearing"; and

Whereas, There may be other places in The Discipline that will need to be altered to keep our language consistent;

Resolved, That the General Conference Editing Committee (1585) be authorized to make the change editorially from "trial" to "hearing" throughout the Discipline, when used in a judicial context.
