Youth Pastor/Director

Local church needs: In short, we are seeking a Pastor/Director to lead our students and their families. We are facilitating this search with an openness to onboard personnel that fit the culture we are creating. Our needs in the Next Gen department vary, so applicants will be invited into the process of establishing areas of oversight based on individual ability, passion, as well as, our current and future needs.

Creating a culture: Our heart as the leadership team at CCWC is to build and facilitate a Christ-centered culture that honors God, that holistically values people, and that is intentional about how we steward our time, talent, and treasure. Our vision is to preach and live the Gospel; to make disciples who make disciples!

The vision for the culture we have felt led to build has been solidified, however we are still sensing God's leading in how it is to be carried out. With this in mind we are taking a flexible posture in how and who we on-board for our future leader(s), particularly in the Next Gen department.

Our flexibility includes an openness to pastor(s) and/or director(s). Applicants who do not feel a call to ordination but, still display the necessary qualifications, will receive consideration as a “Ministry Director".

Passion for students: CCWC is a church that values and loves kids/students! Currently our church ministers to 150+ kids/students, (birth through 18 years) during our weekend services, in our 6+ year old 35,000 square foot Next Gen facility. This building includes a dedicated kid's worship space, a dedicated youth worship space, several additional classrooms, a game room, and a full-sized gym! At present we have a team of 65+ Next Gen volunteers who are passionate about kids/students and who are hungry to serve, and hungry to be led!

Education and requirements: It is desired that the ideal applicant would have a bachelor's degree in Christian Ministry and/or a degree in child/adolescent ministry or development. Previous experience is preferred but not required. Applicants should also submit to the Articles of Religion, as recorded in The Wesleyan Discipline.
